Xbox cloud gaming is coming to iOS in 2021

In Spring 2021, the Xbox gaming cloud is coming to iOS and Windows PC, as announced by Microsoft. Today, in its new blog post, Microsoft made an announcement that the Xbox gaming cloud is coming to iOS via Web. Therefore, in Spring 2021, the company plans to take the next step towards success by reaching players all around the world through this update.

Xbox Game Pass ultimate will be available on the Windows PC via the Xbox app, whereas on iOS, it will be available via the mobile web browser. The company aims at creating a seamless gaming experience for players from all over the world. Regardless of whatever screen the player chooses, the all-new update will make it easier for them to continue their game and connect with their friends.

The very first rumor about this update came out in October. Microsoft did not choose to launch the game streaming service on iOS because of the Apple store’s guidelines. However, launching the game streaming to the iPhone and iPad via a web browser will allow the company to avoid the Apple store’s guidelines altogether.

The company plans to bring the new cloud gaming update to international markets as well, including Australia, Brazil, Mexico, and Japan. Therefore, by Spring 2021, billions of devices will be capable of connecting to the company’s cloud gaming service.
