S12 Series

Vivo is likely to announce a debut date for its upcoming S12 selfie-focused series, and iQOO is expected to announce its Neo series soon.

Tipster Digital Chat Station said in a Weibo post that these cellphones will be available in China soon. They believe that the Snapdragon 778G chipset will power the Vivo S12 and S12 Pro, which will allow 44W charging.

According to rumours, the V2162A and V2163A, which were recently certified by the 3C and TENAA, would be renamed and released as the S12 and S12 Pro. The Dimensity 1100 chipset was used in the Vivo S10 and S10 Pro, as well as 44W charging.

The S12 Pro will include a Full HD+ AMOLED display with a fast refresh rate and an in-screen fingerprint scanner, according to previous rumours. The S12 Pro will have curved edges and a 50MP + 8MP dual camera configuration for selfies. The main camera, on the other hand, will have a 108MP triple camera unit. On the other side, the S12 could have a flat display.

Meanwhile, the iQOO smartphones will be known as the Neo5 SE with a Dimensity 1200 processor and the Neo5s with a Snapdragon 888 processor. Both variants are stated to be able to charge at a rate of 66W. OriginOS Ocean UI is expected to be preinstalled on Vivo’s latest S series and iQOO’s Neo series.
