Following the great success of Roshan Digital Accounts and a variety of pertinent features to assist expatriate Pakistanis, the State Bank of Pakistan will launch this week a new product, Roshan Apna Ghar, for non-resident Pakistanis to purchase property in Pakistan.
Non-resident Pakistanis can now utilise Roshan Digital Account to buy or finance a home in Pakistan. Roshan Digital Account is a major effort of the State Bank of Pakistan, which will be launched on September 10, 2020, in partnership with commercial banks in Pakistan. These accounts offer cutting-edge financial options to millions of Non-Resident Pakistanis (NRPs) looking to conduct banking, payment, and investment activities in Pakistan.
Several financial products have been made available to Overseas Pakistanis as part of the project, including the Naya Pakistan Certificate for investment, the Roshan Apni Auto for car finance, and the Roshan Samaaji Khidmat for charitable donations.
Roshan Apna Ghar, a new lifestyle banking product in the same category, is now available. Non-resident Pakistanis can now easily buy or acquire financing while sitting in the comfort of their homes abroad, without having to visit a bank branch.
They can acquire or finance a home from a bank’s pre-approved projects, as well as any other property. The tax regime is straightforward and final. In the event of a property sale, the primary amount invested can be transmitted abroad without the need for a permit. Profit margins are appealing. Financing is provided in both traditional and Shariah-compliant forms.
