The Galaxy A13 5G, the next handset in Samsung’s inexpensive Galaxy A-series, has been released in the United States. The A13 5G is one of Samsung’s most affordable 5G devices to date.
Display & Design
The Samsung Galaxy A13 5G features a 6.5-inch Infinity-V 720p display with an adaptive 90 Hz refresh rate that runs from corner to corner. The display features a water-drop notch in the center for the 5MP front-facing camera, as well as slim bezels. The refresh rate is higher than the A12’s regular 60Hz, resulting in a smoother experience than the previous generation.
Cameras
The triple-lens arrangement of the Galaxy A13 is unique. It has a 50MP main camera, as well as a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor for bokeh. A 5MP front-facing selfie camera is also included. Video recording is limited to 1080p on both the front and back cameras.
Storage & Internals
A MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, manufactured on a 7 nm technology, powers the Samsung Galaxy A13. This makes the Galaxy A13 far more capable of multitasking and handling a variety of mobile games than the Galaxy A12, which was built on an older chipset. The smartphone comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 1TB via a dedicated microSD card slot.
Battery
The smartphone has a big 5000 mAh battery with 15W rapid charging capabilities.
