According to recent reports, a cooperation between Zi Solar, a prominent renewable energy solution provider in Pakistan, and Aeonus, a Korean worldwide leader in renewable energy, is set to revolutionise the landscape of the electric vehicle. Both companies will collaborate to ensure that electric vehicle deployment and storage components are maintained across the country. This also includes research and development to promote the electric charging infrastructure even more.
The paper was signed by M. Bilal Zaigham, Director of Business from Zi Solar, Mohammad Farooq, CEO of Zi Solar, Daniel from Aeonus, and Eun Heo, CEO of Aeonus at the Korea Trade-Investment Cooperation Agency in Karachi. Zaigham Hassan, Zi Solar’s Director, and Zaigham Mahmood Rizvi, Zi Solar’s Founding Chairman.

This agreement will significantly lessen reliance on prior energy sources while also lowering the cost of oil imports. The partnership will also promote Pakistan’s Electric Vehicles Policy 2020-2025, which aims for a 30% and 90% share of passenger vehicles and heavy-duty trucks, respectively, by 2030 and 2040.

According to Bilal Zaigham, a dependable, efficient charging solution and the necessary equipment are required to make the electric vehicle trend a sustainable one, and the relationship with Aeonus will assist Pakistan in achieving that aim.

“We are happy to chose Zi Solar as our exclusive partner to provide renewable energy solutions in Pakistan,” Eun Heo, CEO of Aenous, added. By providing creative technology solutions to combat the effects of global climate change, Aeonus is empowering communities to develop a safer and better society. Our commitments are also reflected in the provision of sophisticated electric car charging equipment and solutions based on Korean technology to Pakistan.”
