Before 2020 comes to an end, Apple has made another major announcement. Today, Apple has unveiled its all-new noise-canceling headphones with an Apple logo on them. The all-new Apple noise-canceling headphones are available on preorder for just $549. The headphones come with a premium design and are available on preorder from today.
According to Apple, AirPods Max has similar features as compared to its AirPods Pro, but the only difference is that AirPods Max comes with an over-ear design. AirPods Pro is priced at $249, whereas AirPods Max is approximately double the price.
AirPods Max comes in 5 different colors; space grey, silver, green, sky blue, and pink. The device has a custom acoustic design with features like active noise cancellation, transparency mode, adaptive EQ, and spatial audio. AirPods Max has nine different microphones in total.
Apple’s Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, Greg Joswiak, says;
“With AirPods Max, we are bringing that magical AirPods experience to a stunning over-ear design with high-fidelity audio.”
The company has also introduced some new features in AirPods Max, such as dial at the right ear cup, which will allow users to control volume, phone calls, pause, play, and skip. With the help of this device, you can also activate the Siri voice assistant. Moreover, there is also a separate button for shifting between active noise cancellation mode and transparency mode.
As far as the design of the headphones is concerned, Apple says:
“The breathable knit mesh canopy, spanning the headband, is made to distribute weight and reduce on-head pressure. The stainless steel headband frame provides strength, flexibility, and comfort for a wide variety of head shapes and sizes. Telescoping headband arms smoothly extend and stay in place to maintain the desired fit.
Each ear cup attaches to the headband through a revolutionary mechanism that balances and distributes ear cup pressure, and allows it to independently pivot and rotate to fit the unique contours of a user’s head.”
The box of AirPods Max contains a smart case as well, which automatically puts the headphones in a low power mode. However, it does not seem that it will be selling a hard case cover for them.
Hurry, preorder your AirPods Max now to experience an enhanced music experience!
